Manhasset SEPTA
Official PTA that helps special needs families in Manhasset. All who are interested in special education issues and improving the lives of the special needs population are welcome.
Volunteers are needed to help with the students' homework, assistance for Saturday Series, support during fundraisers, and more.

Spectrum Designs
Non-profit business and life skills center that employs young adults with autism. They make and offer customized T-shirts, apparel, and accessories. A reliable student is needed 2 or 3 times a week from 3-5 to answer phones and work on admin projects for PR and fundraising.

Manhasset CASA
Manhasset Community Coalition Against Substance Abuse (Manhasset CASA) is a private non-profit organization working to reduce the illegal, underage use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs among the youth. Student volunteers would hang posters on Plandome Road, volunteer at the SCA Fair and participate in other community outreach programs to help promote a healthy, safe environment for the youth of Manhasset.

Hugs Across America
Non profit organization that provides teddy bears to children in crisis. The teddy bears have a uplifting message attatched to them. The bears relieve stress and anxieties.
The volunteer would write out the messages, wrap the messages around the bear, and get the bears ready to be shipped out.

Adventures in Learning
After school enrichment and edcuational program to enrich the lives of Long Island children in need of after-school care and instruction.
The volunteer would help students in grades K - 6 with homework Monday through Thursday

Community Chest of Port Washington
This not-for profit organization raises and allocates funds to local charities dedicated to improving the lives of many. These charities provide services for senior citizens, teenagers, children, victims of domestic abuse, and many others in need. Volunteers would work at several events (including the Thanksgiving Day Run, Golf & Tennis Tournament, etc.), complete office tasks, or helping update the organization's website/social media pages/press writing.

This organization is dedicated to researching and implementing ways to adopt a greener living philosophy in Manhasset's schools, homes, and community. Volunteers can help garden, spread the mission, or several other tasks.
